If you are educated...behave it :)

Kudos to Karan to actually take this initiative and making us believe that indeed we are not apes, but educated and responsible Delhites.

  • You are waiting for the lights to turn green and the bloke behind you is honking as if Mission Impossible 4 stars him and the world would end in a big gigantic nuclear blast if he does not go through
  • You are traveling on a one-way road and some one is coming from the opposite side? Well he is from the road and transport department and he is doing a traffic check at the wrong time
  • You are waiting in the long queue and some one just charges in to the counter? sure, he is the minister's uncles's aunty's son's friend's neighbour
  • You are inside the ATM withdrawing money and while you are doing this, someone walks in. Ofcourse the AC was not working @ his place and he wanted to peek over your shoulder to steal your precious guarded ATM pin
  • You are at a popular 'self service' restaurant and the group of college goers sitting right next to you who were speaking to each other so softly as if they were on the opposite sides of a football field - they leave after eating and as if they are sitting at home, leave all the wrappers, trays and almost everything they ordered for the floor attendant to clean
Well a small list of what you get to experience in NCR, very evidently this is something which we have selectively chosen to ignore as well. We do not stand up to anything, maybe its the fear of lets say being a victim of rage, fury or maybe a country made revolver's mistimed trigger?

A friend of mine started an initiative, where like minded people get together and try to just act in a very responsible manner, telling all - "If you are educated...behave it!" Its a great initiative! I support it and would urge you to sign up as well! Well, its not just to sign up, but to practice it. I know one might think - why should I? or how will I make a difference? How does it matter if I do it...no one else will do it? but the point should up upright and clear - you can make the difference and you should try it!

Here is the FB link to the group: http://www.facebook.com/#!/group.php?gid=114269771931594&ref=ts

Join to group - support it and also follow it. Mind it, I do not want to be the one telling you "behave it" :)
